Brandon Adams, Bradley Empson, Sam Hatton, Bilal Sayoud added to the squad

There have been four recent additions to the Town squad, which is being finalised as the 2018/19 pre-season programme progresses.

Brandon Adams, Bradley Empson, Sam Hatton and Bilal Sayoud have all featured and impressed in the pre-season games thus far, initially as trialists, and manager Andy Leese is delighted the way the squad is shaping up for the challenges to come. Welcome to the club, guys!

Andy said "Brandon Adams is a twenty year-old who has been at QPR for four years and has had a year's experience in Malaysia and some time on loan at clubs including Staines Town and Linfield in Northern Ireland. I've known him since he was in youth football and he has impressed me during the friendlies, notching a number of goals. He is developing quickly into a good striker and finisher.

"Bradley Empson came through the Town Youth set-up and has been at the Watford academy for a couple of years, having been released recently. He was keen to stay in the professional game but likes the club, and we like him, and he is able to operate equally well at full-back or in midfield.

"Sam Hatton is an experienced player who turned 30 earlier this year. He has been a professional at AFC Wimbledon, Aldershot Town, Grimsby Town and Welling United and has had an excellent pre-season. He can play at the back or in midfield and I'm sure his versatility will be a vital asset over the course of the long campaign to come. He is also an England C International.

"Bilal Sayoud is 21 and has just been released by Coventry City after a two year spell there. He has also had experience at the Nike Academy, so knows Taofiq Olomowewe who also came through that route. He is a wide player who can operate on both flanks.

"I am delighted to get this quartet in at this time, especially as we were having to compete against a number of other clubs for most of the guys, and I'm very pleased with the way pre-season has gone overall, after a couple of glitches with hastily rearranged games early on. The squad is shaping up nicely, and we can't wait to get going with the competitive action starting at Folkestone on August 11th."
