Town's U 23's must win at all costs

By Graham Dodd

The pressure is re-aligned

Town's Under 23's have known for 2 weeks that 3 points in next week's away fixture to Greenwich Borough are a must, but the dynamics have changed!

Bowers & Pitsea, who lead Town by a single point and with a slightly healthier goal difference, have had their game postponed at Bishops Stortford tonight; Wednesday March 13th.

Town were hoping Stortford would beat or at least draw with Bowers, meaning a win at Greenwich would clinch the title for Town.

But now Town have the opportunity to increase the pressure on Bowers by winning at Greenwich, meaning Bowers have to be victorious at Stortford to win the League.

Town will need to put a victory over Greenwich earlier in the season to the back of their minds and focus on replicating their win at Bowers 2 weeks ago, which saw them return to form with a comprehensive win.
