As always the England World Cup match last night was a nervy affair, not helped by Columbia's late corner resulting in a disastrous last minute equaliser. As an England fan you could be excused for cowering in despair as we faced our nemesis, the curse of the dreaded penalty shoot-out. Not for the feint-hearted, it of course went down to the wire as Jordan Pickford made a fantastic save to spare the blushes of Henderson and Dier stepped-up to seal the victory.
But all is well, for now at least, as we prepare to go again on Saturday against Sweden in the Quarter-final. Nervous? Of course, but as we dare to believe that 'football is coming home' we still might prefer the comfort of a cold beer in hand and a group of friends cheering them on! What better place to go to than your local football club?
Butler's Bar will be open from 1pm on Saturday showing the game which kicks-off at 3pm. Grab a friend or six - come along cheer the team on together!
