Spurs Star Dele Alli Visits The Queen Elizabeth Stadium

5 months ago By Dean Vale

We would love to tell you Dele Alli was our latest signing in the transfer window, but the midfield maestro was just visiting for a photo shoot.

With the transfer window open there has been much speculation in the press about the 21-year-old England midfielder with our North London neighbours Tottenham Hotspur keen to secure his services on a long-term deal and stave-off interest from admirers including Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, who are rumoured to be keeping a close eye on him.

Spurs are expected to offer Dele Alli new terms with a contract for somewhere in the region of a £100,000-a-week to stay at the club. This will make Dele Alli one of the club’s highest earners. There is of course much speculation over new signings at Spurs, with the club reportedly in talks with Barcelona for midfielder Andre Gomes in a move that could see Mousa Dembele join AC Milan. As always there is much speculation and many rumours in the transfer window, so we will just have to wait and see what happens.

This Saturday we have Bostik Premier League action at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium as we entertain Merstham. We hope you will come along and enjoy an afternoon of football and cheer on the Towners as we look to regain momentum after our 7 game unbeaten run came to an end on Tuesday night. As always, we hope to make the most of our home advantage - with the backing of our 'twelfth man' - the brilliant Town supporters, who we hope will be in full voice, cheering the team on.

Kick-off is 3pm, with tickets available on the gate - Adults £11, Concessions £7 and Under-16's just £1. We hope to see you there!
